The Fourth LDC Future Forum represents a strategic moment to convert the energy and creativity of youth into concrete progress through targeted investments in education, innovation, decent jobs, and inclusive growth. This ambition reflects the vision of the Doha Programme of Action, which regards youth and human capital as essential to development and graduation from LDC status.

 

 

Thematic Focus Areas

 

 

1. Addressing the skills gap by aligning educational systems and vocational training with the demands of future economies, to ensure young people are prepared for emerging opportunities.

 

2. Advancing the digital learning revolution by expanding online universities and e-learning platforms that improve access to quality STEM education for marginalized youth, including girls and rural populations.

 

3. Building vibrant youth innovation ecosystems through the creation of entrepreneurship programmes, start-ups, and technology hubs, which empower young people to scale solutions and foster meaningful employment.

 

4. Promoting inclusive growth models to guarantee equitable participation of all youth, with special emphasis on gender equality and engagement of marginalized groups, utilizing proven approaches to overcome systemic barriers.
