In his opening remarks at The Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FFD4), United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres noted that the world “must get resources flowing. Fast,” explaining that “countries must lead by mobilizing domestic resources and investing in areas of greatest impact: schools, health care, social protection, decent work, and renewable energy.”
