The (ECA) provides support to LDCs in line with the priorities of the Doha Programme of Action (DPoA), including through its partnership with the Office of the High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States (OHRLLS). Such support includes strengthening voluntary national and subnational reviews to advance the implementation of the SDGs, as well as supporting the development of nationally determined contributions in line with the Paris Agreement under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
ECA also supports African LDCs in mainstreaming the DPoA and the Awaza Programme of Action for Landlocked Developing Countries (APoA) through the use of the Integrated Planning and Reporting Toolkit (IPRT). The IPRT enables countries to assess the degree of alignment of their national and subnational plans with the DPoA and APoA, where countries belong to both categories.
