- ?On?19?February,??(PHROC)?issued?a?position?paper?expressing its support and solidarity with UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese,?stating?that the attacks on?the Special Rapporteur?are not related to a professional or objective evaluation of her reports, but rather represent an attempt to silence her clear characterization of crimes committed against Palestinians and her highlighting of responsibilities borne by the occupying power, the international community as a whole, and multinational corporations that invest in activities linked to war crimes.?
- On 18 February,??informed it had?sent an urgent letter to?Israeli?Defense Minister Katz, Attorney General?Baharav-Miara, and Minister Smotrich, to demand the immediate cancellation of the government*s decision to advance the process of land registration and ※settlement of title§ in Area C of the occupied West Bank.?The NGO?warned?that?implementation of this decision will result in the large-scale dispossession and expropriation of Palestinian land,?in order to?facilitate?its registration as Israeli ※state land.§ Under IHL,?an occupying?power is prohibited from interfering with the private property of the protected civilian population except in cases of imperative military necessity, which is entirely absent in this instance.?
- On 16 February,??condemned?the escalation?of Israel*s annexation plans and?called?on third?States to take concrete immediate action to end annexation.?The NGO?warned?that the announced administrative and legalistic measures by Israel, aligned with?ongoing campaigns of escalating military and settler violence, are designed?to?facilitate?the rapid appropriation of Palestinian land and?the?forcible transfer of Palestinian families from their homes.?Such acts of direct and indirect transfer not only breach Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva?Convention,?but?are also?intended to prevent the exercise of the inalienable right of the Palestinian people to?self-determination and?deny the collective right of return.?
- On 16 February,??issued the press release ※For the?first time since 1967, Jerusalem is expanding into the West Bank§, following?the announcement of?Israel*s Ministry of Construction and Housing?of the signing of a development agreement for the?Adam?settlement?.?The NGO?informed?that?the plan entails the establishment?of?a new neighborhood of Jerusalem, expanding the city for the first time since 1967 into the?West Bank, without any territorial or functional connection between the area and?the?Adam?settlement.?
- On 16 February,??issued a joint press release demanding an immediate halt to harassment of Palestinians at Rafah crossing, and warning of?apparent?efforts to prevent their return to Gaza.?The two NGOs informed?that?they had sent an urgent?letter to Israeli officials?每?the Minister of Defense, the Attorney General, and the Military Advocate General?每?following the reopening of the Rafah crossing in early February 2026.?The?NGOs?argued that under international law, the right of residents to return to their homeland is absolute, and that preventing the return of residents, imposing preconditions, and subjecting them to harassment and threats may constitute the crime of forcible transfer of a population, which is prohibited under the Geneva Conventions and constitutes a war crime.?
- On 13 February,??highlighted?Israel*s?methodical,?targeted?violence against Palestinian?mothers in Gaza in its?submission to UN Special Rapporteur on Violence against Women and Girls.?The NGO?stated?that the?violence inflicted on Palestinian mothers is not only an attack on individual women and children, but an assault on the survival, dignity, and future of an entire people. Immediate international action is urgently?required?to end?the war on Gaza and to ensure accountability for Israel*s crimes.?
- On 11 February,??held?the?conference ※Participation and Complementarity as a Strategy of Governance amid crises§, in?person in?Ramallah and simultaneously in Gaza?(via Zoom).?The?event?addressed how the Palestinian people*s existence is being targeted along with their ability to survive and remain steadfast amid the genocide in the Gaza Strip, escalating settlement policies and forced displacement from the West Bank, including Jerusalem.?

- On 16 February,?the??provided an update?on?the situation in Gaza?※UN Warns of Significant Impediments to Gaza Aid Despite Ceasefire§.?Humanitarian partners emphasized that unless restrictions on essential construction materials and equipment are lifted, providing durable housing for the 1.5 million displaced people living in temporary sites will remain impossible.?
- On?13?February,??issued a press release calling on European?states?to retract their attacks on?UN?Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese.?The NGO?stated?that calls for Ms. Albanese*s resignation are?※latest in a series of alarming personal attacks and attempts to silence her§?and must be categorically rejected.?

- On 25 February,?the??will hold the?webinar?※The New Palestinian Memoir§?where?four Palestinian scholars, activists, and writers in exile?will discuss?their debut memoirs.?
- On 25 February,?the??will hold the?webinar?※the International Relations of the Two-State Solution§?featuring Lucy Kurtzer-Ellenbogen (MEI), Alexander?Loengarov?(KU Leuven), and Amb. Hesham Youssef (European Institute of 伎踱TV).?The discussion will explore how the two-State?solution?shapes?United?States, European, and Arab diplomatic?strategies?toward Israel/Palestine. Speakers will assess the roles of major and regional powers in?sustaining?prospects for a negotiated settlement and?whether?new?approaches?can help break the impasse.?
- On?19 February,??stated?that the latest unjustified assault on?UN Special?Rapporteur?Francesca Albanese?is aimed at muzzling criticism of Israeli authorities* atrocity crimes against Palestinians, ensuring impunity for these abuses and other governments* complicity in them.?It urged governments?to?stop attacking independent UN experts and instead?to?take long overdue steps to address ongoing Israeli crimes that the special rapporteur and so many others have exposed and denounced.?
- On 15 February,??(FMEP)?Fellow Ahmed Moor?spoke?with human rights attorney and?writer?Sari Bashi?about her new memoir?※Upside-Down Love: A Memoir in Two Voices§.?Among other things, they talked about ※the moral and individual culpability of Jewish Israelis for genocide/war crimes, the future of Israel/Palestine, and the state of human rights more broadly?[#].§?

- On?18 February, the?UN Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People?issued a press release condemning?the decision by Israel, the occupying Power, to resume land registration procedures in the occupied West Bank alongside countless other illegal policies and practices in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem. Such illegal measures risk the further dispossession of Palestinian landowners and entrenchment of Israel*s unlawful control over occupied territory.?The Committee Bureau called?on Israel, the occupying Power, to?immediately?cease and reverse these measures and fully?comply with?its obligations under international law.?
- On 18 February,?UN?Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese?condemned?Israeli attempts to further annex?parts of the?West Bank.?The?recent Israeli?legislation expands Israeli administrative authority into Areas A and B, which under the Oslo?Accords?were?designated?for Palestinian civil and security control. Extending Israeli enforcement and demolition powers into these areas directly encroaches on Palestinian governance. Combined with Israel*s 2025 decision to take control of land registries in Area C?每?reversing the planned transfer of authority to Palestinian institutions?每?these measures undermine the territorial and administrative framework?established?by the Oslo Accords.?The Special Rapporteur?called on?Member States to?comply with?their legal obligations: refrain from recognition, to withhold?assistance, and to take effective measures to bring the unlawful occupation to an end.?
- On 18 February,?in her briefing to the Security Council,??reiterated?the Secretary-General*s condemnation of the Israeli?government*s 15 February decision to resume land registration procedures in Area C of the occupied West Bank, adding that all Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and their associated regime and infrastructure, have no legal validity.?
