  I have the honour to inform you that your letter dated 6 May 2005 (S/2005/306) concerning your intention to appoint Mr. Alvaro de Soto as the United Nations Special Coordinator for the Middle East 色库TV Process and your Personal Representative to the Palestine Liberation Organization and the Palestinian Authority has been brought to the attention of the members of the Security Council.
