Works consisting of the text of specific agreements, declarations, treaties, laws, etc. are
entered under the authorized, or uniform, title as found in the UNBIS Name Authority File
in tag 130 $a.
If an UNBIS authority record for a uniform title does not exist, a new authority record is
created.
If a work consists of more than one primary text, additional uniform titles may be recorded
in tag 730. If a work includes a
primary
text, but it is a minor component of the work as the whole (for example, it is
contained in an appendix), the uniform title is recorded in tag 730.
Tag 130 is also used for serial titles that are generic in nature or identical to titles
issued by other corporate entitites. In these cases, a qualifier specifying the name of the
issuing body or other distinctive information is added to the title.
